Empowering New Beginnings After Domestic Family Violence
We are located on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia.
Statistically, 1 in 4 women here will experience domestic or family violence.
Most don’t know what to do after they leave. That’s where we come in.
Somewhere To Go is not a crisis service. We’re what comes next.
A community space where women and children can rebuild - practically, emotionally, and safely - however that may look for them.
Make an Impact Today
Your generosity help’s create safe spaces for women and children to rebuild, heal, and move forward with strength.
This is more than a donation. It’s a lifeline, a community, and a future.
Thank you.
What We Offer
Somewhere To Go Foundation supports women and children in the space between leaving domestic and family violence and long-term healing.
We are developing a safe, welcoming community centre where families can stabilise, rebuild, and move forward with support around them. Through connection, practical assistance, education, and trauma-informed programs, we aim to reduce isolation and support families as they regain confidence, strength, and belonging.
We are not a crisis service and do not provide emergency or crisis response.
Every service we offer is grounded in dignity, choice, and community - supporting families as they move from leaving to healing.
