Somewhere To Go Foundation supports women and children in the space between leaving domestic and family violence and long-term healing. We are community-led, survivor-centred, and focused on practical, sustainable support.
We are seeking a Fundraising & Events Coordinator to help build and deliver fundraising events and community collaborations that support the long-term sustainability of our work.
Experience appreciated.
ROLE SNAPSHOT
2 days per week, 9am–2pm (10 hours) Once the role is established you are able to work your hours to suits your lifestyle. However is suitable for a stay at home mum, or someone needing to work school based hours.
Contract role
$45–$55 per hour
Sunshine Coast based (hybrid / office-based)
THE ROLE
This role focuses on planning and coordinating fundraising events and identifying opportunities to collaborate with existing local events and community initiatives.
First Month – Foundation & Activation
The first month of this role will focus on setting up core systems while beginning delivery, including:
Building an initial events calendar
Establishing simple planning systems and templates
Identifying aligned community events and key DFV / women-led dates
Scoping and supporting initial fundraising activity
From Month 2 onward, event delivery expectations and performance targets will apply.
ONGOING RESPONSIBILITIES
Coordinate fundraising events from planning through to delivery
Support community collaborations and aligned events
Work with the team to integrate sponsors into events
Keep events organised, repeatable, and sustainable

We are seeking a Community Sponsorships & Partnerships Coordinator to help build and grow recurring business sponsorships that support the long-term sustainability of our work.
ROLE SNAPSHOT
1 day per week (approx. 7–8 hours)
Contract role
$45–$55 per hour
Fully remote initially, with the option for remote, hybrid, or office-based work
Flexible hours — outcomes matter more than when work is completed
THE ROLE
This role focuses on building a recurring business sponsorship program and developing long-term, values-aligned partnerships with local and aligned businesses.
It is an income-generating role, suited to someone who is self-motivated, confident in conversation, and comfortable working independently.
First Month – Foundation & Activation
The first month will focus on setting up the sponsorship foundations while beginning outreach, including:
Creating sponsorship packages and materials
Establishing simple systems to track outreach and partners
Identifying aligned businesses and partnership opportunities
Commencing initial sponsorship conversations
From Month 2 onward, performance targets and income expectations will apply.
ONGOING RESPONSIBILITIES
Proactively approach and engage businesses about sponsorship opportunities
Build and manage ongoing business partnerships
Follow up consistently and professionally
Maintain clear records of sponsors and partnerships
Refine and grow the sponsorship program over time
